Avengers: Endgame, Last episode of the Skywalker saga, final season of Game of Thrones.
Can you think of any other movies/shows that are either coming to an end, or concluding a major plot thread in their canon in 2019?
It seems very interesting to me that so many big event sagas are coming to a close this year.
Into the Badlands finishes - now thats a great show.
All the Netflix Marvel shows have finished or will finish this year right?

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Pretty much confirmation bias in action.
There are a ridiculous amount of entertainment programs, series and etc. Of course a fair number will end in any given year.

Well, I am specifically looking for big blockbuster or epic series with TONS of viewers.
So far, the 3 I listed are the only ones I see meeting this (admittedly ill-defined) category. For example, several of the things mentioned by other posters are things I've never heard of. But you'd be hard pressed to find anyone (who actually watches TV or movies) that hasn't heard of the MCU, SW or GoT.

Yup, AMC canned the show during its hiatus, the scumbags.
Yeah sad to see it go - great fun
how awesome is this set up for the end - great visuals and awesome choice of song.

I too massively enjoy this show. . . . I understand their "reasons" for canning the show, even if I personally think they are garbage, considering how much they've sunk into that idiotic Walking Dead and its bastard children.
For those who don't know, the largest reasons for cancelling the show between seasons 2 and 3, is the cost. Apparently between the sets, the highly stylized (and the sheer volume of) costumes, combined with the practical effects costs in use, and they are saying that the cost of producing the show is far too high.
