So, I'm making a firetruck model as a gift for my brother, as he always liked the idea of Burnas.
Strap on a Deffrolla, stuff it with Orks who misunderstood when they heard the term "fire truck", and drive around burning things.

However, I've been hearing that Burnas aren't very good in this edition, so I'm wondering if it's a better idea to stuff it with comparatively cheap Burna Boyz and just go by volume of fire, or if it may be a better idea to take a unit of Nobz with kombi-skorchas as the firefighters.
That'd be the main question.
Also kind of curious whether it would be worth getting a MegaMek riding along with them for a forcefield or if that's just too many points for the utility.

There's a forgeworld trakk with a supaskorcha. It has passable rules. Also, consider a badmoon character with relik k-skorcha. He's been doing great for me. Though, i'm running him as a biker.

You might want to fill it with nobz. 3 with kombi-skorchas for the burn and the rest with either Kustom shootas (lots of shots for cheap) or double choppa's. Quite expensive but they can pack a punch.

The Supaskorcha is als nice indeed.

Be sure to stick a boy up top to yell WEEEEEYOOOO WEEEEEYOOOUUUUU WEEEEEYOUUUUU!

You could also have a squig somewhere on the model painted as a dalmatian.

To my knowledge the vehicle with the most flamer power is either the CA 2018 rules for a battle fortress which can have a silly amount of flamers on it. Or the forgeworld Bigtrack which can also have 7 or so. Or just go with a battlewagon, have it covered in burna boys on side runners.

I agree with the SuperSkorcha... good fun in my games!

there is also a FW "Track" that can have 4 skorchas on it,
and a mob of Nobz w/ combi-skorchas in the back
(I just use a battlewagon with minimal armor)

both have worked well for me
