they look pretty damn awesome. my only crit is on the green archer on the right of the picture - i would have used different greens between the different items of clothing (but this is me being really picky). your friend is going to be very pleased with this.

Thanks Bubber. Different greens is a good shout but I was trying to match the character card art which is pretty much all the same green except for some tiny details in the middle.
