Well, I attempted to throw a bit of a curve ball for this contest, and promptly had everyone knock it out of the park. Below find some magnificent work. Each piece had to contain components from a game, but with a twist. The game components had to be something other than parts from a miniature wargame. Now 40k parts could be used, but would not count for the game component(s). So without further ado, see some spectacular work and please vote for your favorite but know that each of these pieces is a worthy contender for the title.

Syro_ (A card table which used playing cards cut down and repainted as...playing cards) - i.e. Beer and Pretzels gaming


Mothsniper (using chess pieces to build a Tesla coil, plus golf and ping pong balls to top it off) - i.e. Shockingly Red


KernelTerror (a 4 section arena using poker chips and poker chip trays) - i.e. Place Your Bets


Viktor Von Domm (an arena utilizing chess pieces and sliding gates) - i.e. What is Best In Life


Camkierhi (a gambling den using playing cards and dominos) - i.e. A House of Cards


Truly amazing work, and a bugger of a job judging for me. I will release my choice for winner after the poll ends in 14 days.

Syro - That is an adorable tiny table Those cards must of been super small and hard to cut strait! I don't even talk about the markings on the cards, damn. Well done!

KernelTerror - A proper arena of chaos! Dark and evil mood and setting. Love the gargoyle heads, look like something korn has ripped-out from nurgle and stuck it on the pillars.
I would light that arena with red or orange light-bulbs at different angles, and take epic pictures!

Viktor Von Domm - Clean brickwork indeed, with the whole piece looking interesting from any angle. Very clever on copper-oxidation chess pieces and shields! Love it

Camkierhi - A modular 2 story building in 2 sections, Now I know where most of the time went to Like I said before, amazing woodwork and planning sir!

I purposefully stayed away from blogs just to see it all finished, unspoiled, in the end, and was not disappointed!

Thanks a lot Mothsniper ! I'll keep that idea in mind regarding lighting...That sounds awesome indeed. That was a missing component in the above pics btw, as I realized last minute that I did not have any setting to properly light such a big thing ^^ !

I had to go with Camkierhi and his use of playing cards to make the wallpaper for the lower room.
