Hello fellow Dakkanauts!

This is a list I’ve been thinking about before the new FAQ hit. I love the Lord of Discordant model and on the plus side he’s a beast in close combat and gives some good support to vehicles(altho not to my PBC’s). But he buff’s other LoD’s ☺.
With the new FAQ these badboys can benefit from Legion Traits which makes them even better! I’m still in doubt if I should run them als Red Corsairs (advance and charge) or Alpha Legion (-1 to hit). If I don’t have first turn (which happens alot), I think the -1 to hit might be better. But I will let you guys decide and debate about that. But running 3 of them in a Soulforged pack will let me advance and charge atleast one for 1 CP. One of them also has the Warlord trait that gives them +2” movement.

The general idea of this list is quite simple. Move forward with everything you got!
Nurlings are there for objective holding, Blightlord Termies for support where needed or to cap a backfield objective of my opponent. The PBC’s and DP will move forward together with the LoD’s. One Poxbringer will accompany them. He gives +1 str to the PBCS flamers and can give another -1 to hit to a LoD if needed.
The Plaguebearers will move up in the center.

Let me know what you guys think of this list!

You can still use warptine on one and the advance and charge strat on the other. So I think you're better using the AL trait.

It's a good list but you'll struggle to get all three LDs and PBC into the action at the same time and would be really dependant on terrain and who you're playing against. Flyer heavy lists and gunlines with enough screening would be tough.

You could drop a PBC or two for a couple of Daredeos with butcher cannon and missles or even helbrutes with ML and lascannon. It would give you more options against difficult matchups like eldar flyers and tau that are huddled up in the corner.

While I like all the units you are using, I feel that the list has some problems. The biggest is the way your list makes easy choice for your opponent. Anybody with powerful shooting options are going to focus your LoD first as they are most fragile and fastest threat in your list. Once they die, you will struggle to put enough pressure on your opponent, as the blightlords, plagueburst, and plague bearers are slow and/or pillowfisted. Against certain matchups this will be enough, but aginst armies like knights you will likely have a bad time. I might try to replace the spearhead detachment with a vanguard (maybe with 2 foul blightspawn and the blightlords) and get some nurgle maulerfiends/defilers, as they apply more early pressure then the plagueburst.
