Hey all,

I seem to recall many, many years ago reading about a custom Grond model. I'm sure it was in an old White Dwarf magazine. They described constructing it from scratch and it featured Great Beasts which had been converted from kids toys (this was before they actually made the kit with the beast itself).

I don't suppose anyone knows which magazine issue that came in? Or has any scans of it?

Would be most thankful.

Not 100% sure as I have no idea where my copy is but I think it might be in the Lord of the Rings best of white dwarf magazine book.
Will try and find my copy to check.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis
