So far I’ve been able to test this against guard, tau, and ynarri and I am liking the way it plays. The only issues I’m having are unreliable acts of faith, Jacobus can’t keep up with crusaders when rushing tau, and castellan being 1 model (may be downgrading him to tank commanders and changing a wyvern to a manticore but not settled on that yet)
Crusaders w/Jacob and astropath rush enemy gun line to tie it up, vulture tries to become a target and kills whatever infantry it can. Both of those units main goal is to take shots away from the castellan so it gets at least 2 rounds of firing. Wyverns, hellhounds, and mortar teams keep enemy infantry off objectives with harker giving refills of 1’s for the mortars/wyverns, and and infantry rush objectives. Crusaders have been holding my army together as they are tough to kill. Have not seen them below 3 models yet and Jacob prevents them from fleeing as well as taking a beating himself with 5 wounds and a 4+ invuln.
Army was built around crusaders and the vulture.
