For me it's got to be a Deathguard space marine. I don't know that much about them but I know enough and would honestly rather a tentacle mouthed genestealer slaver all over my face. Than be a few feet away from the Deathguard marine artwork in the KT core rules. If I saw that thing, I would just die of shock. Or rather piss and gak myself then have a heart attack.

Not sure what else could beat mine. Should be fun reading tho.

Slaanesh Daemonettes would be mine. Mostly cause I'm not sure which would win out terror or attraction. But Deathguard or any Nurgle would be a close second.

Great Unclean One's definitely. Although they couldn't enter my room the normal way, rather he would crush my ceiling as he stomps on my house roof, and say hello to me that way.

Nurgle is a bro though, no the worst thing would be probably either, A Chaosspawn, B Commisar, C Khorne berzerker, altough dependant on the following of which side of khorne.

Serious answer though would be a Lord of Change. Seriously, most other things would torture and kill you, but these things would mutate and warp your body, soul and god knows what else.

There is no limit to the torture, would rather attack a Bloodthirster with a rock.

I'm gonna go for a Dark Eldar Haemonculus, you'd know for sure you're in for a hell of a lot pain.

Anything Dark Eldar - that just isn't going to end well on any level. Mostly anything else would just simply destroy you, and/or your mind. Dark Eldar take pleasure in bringing you to the brink and then fixing you up so they can do it again. Pretty sure any sane soul would be begging for the sweet release of a Khornite axe.

But i think most space marines are about as scary to meet as most other 40k creatures that could fit, Chain weapons or shoots. Does wrath lords, knights, dreadnaughts and other things count as walking into the room if the room is half to mostly gone D:

Daemonculabla. That scene was truly disturbing. Though the mechanics of the "walked into the room" is beyond me.

Also some of the truly horrific things (to us) that a normal Imperial well-to-do citizen sees on a daily basis would probably be terrifying, like cyber-cherubs and the like.

A haemonculus. Their form isn't just awful (although it IS awful), their presence means that I (and my family) are about to be subjected to unimaginable death and dismemberment, if we're lucky. If we aren't, then we're all about to get dragged back to some coven workshop for some horrors so foul the Catholic Church would excommunicate you just for knowing how to spell them.

Tyrannids or a Commissar. Everything else you have even a slight chance of talking it out of killing/enslaving you. Or it just ignoring you.

For me Death guard = Oh the horror, Kack in pants, the dread and smell etc.

But if Khan the Betrayer walked in I would straight up run through the wall like a looney toon with a silhouette shaped hole and everything

An Inquisitor.
They can do anything to you, literally, for any reason.

When you meet a Nurgle marine, Bloodletter or anything, you know what to expect. With the Inquisitor, you don't know anything they are planning.

There's no shortage of good answers in the 40k universe

Dark Eldar or Night Lords of any variety are a good shout though

Things like berzerkers, khorne daemons and genestealers wouldn't be as bad because your death will be quick and inevitable.
