Hello Ladies and Gents,

If you are in the area, Maplewood Hobby is doing its Bi-Annual Bizarre Bazaar Auction. People bring things from models, to whole armies, to cases, to sometimes crazy things. Buy the things you really want but don't need, and watch the zaniness!

When:Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 1 PM – 6 PM

Where: Maplewood Hobby
1970 Springfield Ave, Maplewood, New Jersey 07040

What: If you are new to Bizarre Bazaar here is how it works:

People may enter lots for sale and set both minimum and “buy it now” prices for their items. (See IMPORTANT below)

We place all the merchandise in the middle of the store for auctioning and one by one we auction them off.

People who sell their lots are given store credit for the amount we get for their items that can be used immediately or saved for another day!

Starts promptly at 1pm Saturday, May 25th

IMPORTANT:
Anything to be auctioned must be brought in and all auction tags complete BEFORE 12pm on the 25th. All items brought in afterward will not be auctioned.
(Please note that you may bring lots to sell ahead of time and you do NOT need to be here for the auction of these lots. We will inform you of the credit you have and you can use it at a later date.)

Some FAQ:

Can I bring anything to auction:
Yes - short of any type of weapon - looking at you ninja weapon collecting warriors! We have had models, armies, cases, board games, video games, consoles - even the occasional snack!

Do I have to get store credit:
Yes, that way you strictly funnel that money into your addicto.....I am sorry, I mean your hobby

Is the Auctioneer talented:
Yes, and quite funny.

Do you have parking on site:
Yes, and street parking. 6 on site and street parking is free and available (not a tow day). We are also ramp accessible.

Do I have to stay there for the auction:
Nope. You can drop your stuff off, and leave your contact information. The items will auction with or without you, and you can come in later to pick up what didn't sell, and get the sweet sweet addiction money.

Children allowed:
Yes. As a slight warning their will be probably mild profanity, but there is always the random toy that a kid wants in there.

Will you tell my wife/husband how much I bought in the store:
We operate on a principle of "snitches get stitches." You are safe.
