Looks terrible. They make it out in 10 seconds as if Batman abandoned them (probably locked up due to some #metoo movement) and make her... well, lesbian I guess? I get the SJW’s want a super hero to look up too, but why not make something new instead of ruining something with a massive history of... well not being an SJW.

It looks subtle as the rest of the CW efforts (although not convinced the trailer wasn't crafted to create buzz), and I'm really hoping the support cast is good as I'm not sold on Ms Rose's acting chops as a lead (I'll be happy to be wrong)

and getting a new Bat show as Arrow winds up might be fun

Yeah, don't see a problem here. The Arrowverse is already pretty diverse, except that most of the leads are white and straight. When adding a show that has a canonically gay lead character to the stable, it absolutely makes sense that the lead character be gay.

Why would they make a show about the version of the character from the 80s or earlier nstead of the modern one?

Btw one of their animated movies had kk. She was a lesbian in that too.
