Pestilent Plague Marine with Blight Grenade

I was looking at this piece of art and to the left, I noticed a Nurglified juggernaut being ridden by either a plaguebearer or a hyper-mutated Chaos Lord (possibly possessed):

For the game, a Chaos Lord riding a juggernaut can only be allied to Khorne, but in the fluff, would there be any way for it (or any other daemon) to end up serving a different god from the one who created it? I know that several of the daemon engines can be used by different factions, as well as the furies and Soul Grinder, and there are of course the daemon princes of Chaos Undivided, but could other daemons come to be in the service of a god other than its progenitor?

Interesting that nobody has answered yet .

Since Chaos Daemons are a manifestation of a small part of their parent god they can't change their allegiance. They are bound to their parent god and use his energy.
That being said I could see a Tzeentchdaemon (like the Changeling) hiding as a daemon from another god.

The question is of course howmuch can daemons be affected by the powers of the other gods? Can Nurgle make Khornes brass rust? Can he infect a Horror? Can Daemonettes seduce a Blood letter? Could be yes to all (well, I don't think any daemon can be seduced, actually), but in every case the Daemons wouldn't switch sides.

It's something different with mortal followers of the gods (and Daemon Princes to some degree). They can actually switch sides. In the Lords of Silence-novel there seems to be a plague marine who seems doubtful if he chose the right god and seems to wonder if he should have become a Khorne follower instead.

Daemons don't have free will. They are fragments of their god. They can displease or disagree with or even rebel against their god, just as you can dislike some part of yourself or be in two minds about something, or even suffer from multiple personality disorder. But they can't go off and join another god, just as you can't send a part of your mind to go take up residence in some other person's brain.

However, the gods are basically giant sapient warp storms, and they can theoretically overlap in warpspace. I suppose you could have a daemon spawned from an overlap or temporary merging between two Chaos gods. (In older fluff, Khaine was the result of such an overlap between Khorne and Slaanesh).

If a world suffered, simultaneously, a horrific genocidal war and a terrible plague, you could perhaps end up with the emotional resonance of those events taking form in the Warp as a daemon with mixed 'parentage' of both Khorne and Nurgle, and it might conceivably look like a rusty juggernaut ridden by a very angry plaguebearer.

Such 'bastard' daemons seem to be extremely rare, though. Probably everything else in the Warp hates them and tries to destroy them at the earliest opportunity.

A little bit of righteous anger now and then is good, actually. Don't trust a person who never gets angry.
