First Legion started KS with 28 mm Scale Fantasy Heroic Miniatures.

The prices here are very impressive. $4-$5 a figure for some very impressive resins if I understand correctly.

There's some really nice stuff in this campaign, but it's so overwhelming in terms of stuff on offer.

The Slavic Ogres are really clicking with me. Might have to at least get the guy with the spear. All the townsfolk and assorted terrain bits are cool too.

I swear they've got everything but the lizards here... and kobolds don't count!

There is a huge amount of stuff on offer here. All of the terrain, the villagers, the orc villagers... There is just a ton of stuff.
Pick almost any fantasy archetype and you can get really high quality resins for very reasonable prices.
I don't normally go for goblin's, but man, these wolf riders:

Resin cavalry for $8.33 ain't bad.at all.
Unlike Mierce these guys are based stateside which is another bonus for me (better shipping).

I'm surprised as well. These easily compete with Mierce minis, but are much more reasonably.priced and aren't all anthropomorphic beast/man hybrids.

Not only that but it's an established company.

I was tangentially aware of them due to my dad's interest in 1/32 scale figures/ Britian's Toy Soldiers and the like. I've seen First Legion models for sale at various Toy Soldier conventions and the quality of paint jobs has always been quite nice.

They make good stuff.

Granted this is a tiny bit different scale and scope, but I feel good about backing this one.

FLF planned to create the Orc Camp with Watch Towers, many tents, palisades etc.

These feel to me like a peek at what an updated WHFB range might have looked like if they hadn't gone super-saiyan with AoS. Although the Orcs are a little more WoW than Warhammer, they have more sensibly constrained proportions, which is really nice to see.

Man I love those skellies, the mounted horror's some of the dragons and a few of the individual necro's but once I priced it out ouch..... I like them but I have no use for them as I don't play fantasy but i'd just love to paint and have some of these. Oh well if they ever hit retail maybe I can convince the boss to let me get a few.
