What do people think of the Gitz with a leaning to Spiderfang?

100 Scuttleboss on Giant Spider (general, master spider rider, totem of the spider-god)
300 Archanarok Shaman (curse of the spider-god, ignax's scales)
80 Webspinner Shaman (scuttling terrors)
380 Troggoth Hag
90 Fungoid Shaman

300 15 Spider-Riders
200 10 Spider-Riders
200 10 Spider-Riders

120 Spider-Rider Skitterswarm/Skittermob (battalion adds 2" to move for battalion units)

all the Gitz Endless Spells

I like the Gitz for their magic and the spiders have good spells, and also good speed and some mortal wound potential in melee, plus they are cool! And few people seem to be playing them much. I think the Hag and Fungoid will provide some good support too. Enough Spiders in there? Not sure if I need the Malevolent Moon spell, but man it's a fun model! Perhaps one of the new deathly endless spells might be cool, like the Lauchon Boatman?

Drop the hag, drop the fungoid.
Add shaman on aracnarok spider, more rider and 2 skitterstrand
keep only scuttletide endless spell

It seems like you are really excited to run these models. Do it. Winning or losing doesn't matter if you just love playing the army.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

you are a 100% right when is for the fun of running models but if is to do a thematic army and add models just for advantage (looking at you WAAC 40k players)…

Me, im the kind of guy to bring a 100 spiders just to see the face of other players.

I think I will definitely get some more spiders for a full on Spiderfang at some point.....gotta sell or trade out some of my less exciting old armies first.

I was wondering if anyone liked Skitterstrands. They seem expensive for their damage output, but the deepstriking monster is fun. If one had 3 in a battalion they might actually make the charge after deepstriking too! The Arachanarok is an interesting kit; when I get another one I'll see about magnetizing the top for versatility. The Flinger is interesting too, and I think the other battalion helps that hit horde units even better.

Chronomantic Cogs can be used to give +2" to charge moves board-wide, allowing for more reliable deep strike charges.

Ooh yeah, Cogs! I really need to experiment more with the Endless Spells.
