...

I have had the great honour and pleasure of working with Ian Miller these past few months on a full set of 78 tarock (tarot) cards. We are still finalising a few things, but the deck is pretty much there so we thought it might be time to begin sharing some teaser images...

I don't know about you guys, but 'older' folks like me grew up on a diet of Ian Miller art back in the 70s/80s/90s, especially during the Age of Oldhammer (Warhammer Fantasy, WFRP, Rogue Trader, Fighting Fantasy) and his incredible artwork for the Tolkien Bestiary and many fantasy novels.

We decided to go for a simple black border and an elegant font that would not in any way detract from the main focus of the cards, which of course is the rather spiffing artwork. We hope you like them - more teasers (and details on the forthcoming Kickstarter) coming soon!

Cheers

I thought this would be of interest especially to the older members of the community who will have fond memories of all the art Ian Miller did for GW (some of which was collected in Ratspike, one of their early art books)

I don't know anything else about the project yet (its probably going to be a game of some sort from the facebook group its been posted in rather than just a tarot deck), but will update when I do

I have had the great honour and pleasure to work with Ian Miller on some tarock (tarot) cards. There will be a Kickstarter coming soon in order to get a full deck of 78 tarock cards printed - 22 major arcana and 56 minor (suits). Suitable for playing any number of traditional European tarot games. Or just a very nice collectors deck of art cards.

I will post more info soon. In the meantime, here are some teasers...
Cheers!

another card teased, and it now sounds like its going to be a tarot deck, rather than a deck as part of a larger game

Fantastic. I've been reading / collecting tarot longer than gaming, over 20 years. This will be a fine addition to my rotation.
