Howdy all,

Check out our new Battle Documentary series , Day in the life..., which follows a 40k tournament player through a tournament and the day leading up to the event, including battle reports of all 3 games. This is something new, so feedback would be great!

That seemed more like a vlog than a documentary.

Herm... whats a vlog if not a documentary of everyday life? The idea, though, is to follow a different player each event (if i can). I mean im open to suggestions to make it a little more documentary-like

I guess it seemed more like you(?) were just vlogging about your tournament rather than you presenting an interesting facet about something and trying to give the view information about it.

If you followed other players that sounds very interesting and would make it feel more like a documentary.

I can see that, its initially an idea i want to try out; i do want to follow others, often though its hard to get buy in without a "proposal" for what you want to do. So i used myself as the subject, considering im the operator and video everything myself

It's definitely a vlog rather than a documentary. For me it was overly long and I ended up skipping through a lot of the later bits due to the length. While I think the idea of doing a complete look at everything that goes into preparing for a tournament, including the practicalities of packing and what to wear, etc, is useful I don't think we need a 5 minute intro that basically says "don't stink and wear comfortable shoes".
