I've been kind of wondering this for a while and where we would put it. I suppose i should've found out sooner but i'm asking now.
Anyway i want to play some Xcom 2: WotC and maybe invite other people to be a part of the game. I saw someone do it a while ago but only wrote what happened whereas i plan to actually stream the game and give explanations of what happened for those that just want some general details.
Do these threads already exist and i'm just lazy or could we add this as some sort of new type of sub-forum or something?

I made a thread for a Lets play some friends and I did years and years ago, though looking back, were weren't good at it Pretty sure a few others have done it over the years.
You could post in the Video Game forum that you want to do a Lets play and invite people to join you with a link to the stream and then post again when you actually do it so people know it's starting.

This seems pretty tailor made for the video game forum and exactly why it exists.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

I've been considering something similar with Battletech, so good to know.

I can use voice chat and discord but my issue is i don't really have a way to see the chatroom's text while i'm in-game (no dual monitor). How would i go about this? I think there are tools that'd allow me to read my Twitch chat while i'm playing a game.

There are tools but I'm not a streamer really so I don't know what they are. There's probably tutorials somewhere about setting up a twitch stream that'll mention them.

Apparently you can check up your chat feed on your smart phone or tablet. I'm ready to stream whenever i can find enough people looking to watch.
