Just wondering, have any dark age of technology ships emerged from the warp, in the time of the imperium, with still living crew? If not, is there any reason why not, since it seems fairy common place for ships to get thrown out all over the time stream when things go wrong. If they have (or hypothetically did) would they be snatched up and used for all their potential technological knowledge, or burned as heretics by virtue of their origins?

I can’t think of any instances of that occurring, it could be because warp was calmer then, so it was less likely to result in incidents like the one you describe?

Also one reason it might not happen is that DAoT humans might have a greater understanding of time/effects of time travel and greater moral compass than modern 40k and have restrictions on themselves as far as non-interference similar to what you see in Star Trek. Maybe you never hear about them because they just hide and keep to themselves until they can get back!

I'd wager there are space hulks floating around with such shipped melded into them.

Ah, if the key word in your question is LIVING crew, that has happened almost never? Sounds like maybe in Death of Integrity?

Dark Age Ships with dead crew, pretty sure there have been a bunch.

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?
