Hey guys, it’s been a few years since I played any 40k and I’m trying to find out if there’s any active players / groups in my area (north London UK). My local GW closed down a few years ago and I haven’t played since but would love to get back into it!!

Thanks!!

I'm honestly not sure how active this app is in your area, but it's a great idea. Uncle Atom from Tabletop Minions (YouTube) helped to develop the app. Give it a shot and see if you find anyone.

While some apps are okay, by far the very best option right now is still Facebook. Essentially every large metropolitan area or region of a state has a "________ 40K Gamers" style group. I don't use Facebook for normal things (no info, all my stuff is wiped and I don't follow friends), but I've found it invaluable for hobby groups. If you're willing to put in the time to turn off 95% of the features of Facebook it can become a hobby stream for you.

If you're up that direction, Darksphere is in West London if you're prepared to travel for games and if you want to go further to Waterloo/Elephant&Castle you can find a game at Bad Moon Cafe.

Best bet is finding groups on Facebook or even trying the player finder that is on this website, I used it last year to figure out who/where I wanted to play.
