This is the new Kickstarter from Troll Trader. I can't seem to copy the pictures on this iPad, but here is the link.. Their last KS delivered recently, resin halflings well cast.

I think this KS will deliver everything a budding Tomb Kings player could want. I am especially looking forward to the a undead Lord, Sphinx and Anubii.

I love Troll Trader/ Tabletop Combat's stuff. Most of my resin models have been quite nice and crisp. I had a few issues with feet on the starter set models but even TT Combat mentioned they've learned from those mistakes.

Their MDF terrain lately has been killing it too! I'm kind of shocked nobody here has posted about their new Savage Domain terrain sets even.

I hope this campaign goes as wild with all the various options like the Halfling one did. Somehow I missed that one and have been waiting for all those goodies to show up on their store.

As the previous KS was more than worth it, the sculpts and dispatch were top notch, backing this one too.

So people on the fence, back this one with confidence!

I've backed £60 for the Arabian halflings, I'll probably be adding to that pledge to get more halflings.

Ideally if there was a larger halfling pledge I'd of went in bigger. I hope they add some spearmen to bulk them out.

The cactus centaurs are an odd one aren't they? I'm hoping some of the stretch goals are halfling related as well.

The undead stuff is looking seriously awesome, I'll get the characters from those but I've just finished painting all the skeletons my sanity can handle.

Are you interested in splitting any of the sets of twenty? I don't really need more than ten of a type, and if you don't either, we might as well split them. I'd add them to my pledge during the pledge manager phase and we can discuss details any time before the pm closes.

I will probably back for the Rumbleslam and Carnivale minis.:.i don’t need 80 desert elves, no matter how great they look. 1 or 3 of each, maybe, but not 20...

Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?

I hope they'll consider doing a small skirmish bundle. Maybe 4 or 5 of each unit type, something along those lines. I'm going ot keep pestering them about that.

@BobtheInquisitor- I know Barzam wants Elves but I'd be down for some Halflings among other things. Maybe we can set up a SoCal group pledge for those of us who want to divvy up some of the bigger units?

If there's a PayPal option in the pledge manager I don't mind putting in a larger order and splitting it up with others.

So in on this!

Their last KS was fabulous. Undead Cockatrice!?

Loving the Egyptian elf girls. Loving the mummy centaurs. With most of the monsters at 15£, and most of the characters at 5£, it’s quite a good deal too. They teased that there’s some really WILD monsters in the stretch goals, so I can’t wait to see what they’ve got.

While I love me some TT stuff and I'm sure it'll work out fine...that sure as hell seems like one scatter-brained KS. Also, worth pointing out that the stereotypical "cactus" (which is basically a saguaro cactus) only exists in the Sonoran Desert in the US/Mexico, so that's an exceptionally weird choice of model.

It is awesome to see some people get to start Khemri(?) armies though. It was a tragedy they were killed off. One of the best and most unique model lines in the Warhammer universe.

Seems the RPG pledge is getting a bit of variety in terms of different sculpts in smaller quantities, and they're throwing more models in as they unlock stretch goals.

Actually they're adding stretch goal models to most bundles now that I look more closely.

The mega pledge says it includes MDF Monuments and shows a Sphinx statue, I don't think they've even touched on those yet!

On the last Kickstarter, the £100 pledge ended up with duplicate core units - something like 130-140 minis total. A friend and I split the pledge, and we both ended up with enough minis for small armies.

Good quality sculpts and resin casts too.

My only complaint is that the KS is almost too big to choose - halflings, elves or Khemri?

They're being very smart with the Elf releases - almost all of them have a direct analogue to AoS dark elf units.

Edit: This may well kill my plan to get plastic Sisters of Battle. I play way more AoS than 40k.

Edit 2: Did some quick math on equivalents. The 100 GBP Elf Battalion pledge can come out to 1410 points of AoS Order/Aelf army.

Another satisfied customer of their previous KS here (do not judge me... I did not get any Halflings, just a load of the various monstrous infantry).

I already have a large GW Tomb Kings army so my motivation here is limited, but I am definitely keeping an eye on it.

And I appreciate the Erehwon tie-in, but I would appreciate a KoW tie-in even more.

I'm a bit unclear - when you get a regiment of 20 figures - what are you getting? Twenty monopose figures? Twenty posable figures with a few different heads and arms? Twenty non posable figures from 3-4 variations?

@kestral, I'm pretty sure it's the later. 4-5 variations of non posable figures

Obviously 3 command models (banner, musician, leader). They show 4-5 poses of Hexes so there might be 8 different models in total among the 20. Not any different from the old WFB days of metal models.

They said in the comments there will be several poses.

Halfling Sand Raiders? Check, do want. Desert elves and mummies? Kinda cool I guess. I'm bummed out that I missed the previous Kickstarter. Hopefully those models appear on their website soon. Watching with interest.

I think in the comments they mention them going up on the website in a few months. It was one of the reasons they decided to not include those models as add ons in this kickstarter.

Crap, if there are several poses my willpower to resist this will shrivel away.
Can anyone here who backed their last Kickstarter comment on the quality of the resin casts and sculpts?

I've been quite happy with my Carnevale sculpts they did. The starter set single casting pieces were alright to good, but the faction box models that needed to be built were quite nicely detailed.

From what I've heard (and Tabletop has said) they've only gotten better since then.

I can post some photos later.
