Does this seem semi-competitive? Any thoughts? My biggest concern is I have only 6 dudes...

Subjugator Captain
Enforcer Shotgun
Respirator

Subjugator Sergeant
Enforcer Boltgun
Respirator

Palanite Patrolman
Sniper Rifle
Infra-Sight

Subjugator Patrolman
Vigilance Pattern Assault Shield
Respirator

Subjugator Patrolman
Enforcer Boltgun
Respirator

Subjugator Patrolman
Subjugation Pattern Grenade Launcher
Choke Gas Grenades for the GL
Respirator

I don’t want a uber I’m going to beat you all the time list but I don’t want to lose all the time either.

Really depends on what you mean by competitive.

Are you looking to play in a campaign, or a tournament type affair?

If it's a campaign, a god awful first game could relegate you to the doldrums for the foreseeable, as it only takes a couple of deaths to reduce your Gang below anything like combat effectiveness?

If you can avoid early casualties, you should be OK. Enforcers have armour to start with, decent stats, and better guns than most - so that's a leg up.

Sadly I don't have The Book of Judgement yet, so can't say whether the individual points are spent wisely. But, I would question the Grenade Launcher at this time, as they're often not the cheapest of guns.

If you were to drop that, can you fit in a 7th Enforcer? Because early bods get development and improvement. The Grenade Launcher could wait for later.

Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?

I am glad 'uscmcmidn' started this thread! I am in the same boat!

@Mad Doc Grotsnik -

I appreciate your tips!

If I could, I would like to add onto the OP's questions:

I have 1 box of enforcers, the book of law, and the thin-bendy rule book from the starter set between Goliath and Escher - is that all I would need besides terrain and a friend to play against?

For campaign style game, do you have any tips around weapon selection? Is a mix of melee/ranged doable or is the game more geared toward one or the other?

The one thing I would like to avoid is building an Enforcer with a load-out that is so much hot garbage that I could never justify fielding him lol.

Any info would be great,
Thanks!

So I was looking in the BRB and it states you need at a minimum of 10 guys and a points value of at least 1250 so I altered the list a bit....

Subjugator Captain
Enforcer Shotgun
Respirator

Subjugator Sergeant
Enforcer Boltgun
Respirator

Palanite Patrolman
Sniper Rifle
Infra-Sight

Subjugator Patrolman
Vigilance Pattern Assault Shield
Respirator
Dumdum Rounds

Subjugator Patrolman
Enforcer Boltgun
Respirator

Subjugator Patrolman
Subjugation Pattern Grenade Launcher
Choke Gas Grenades for the GL
Respirator

Palanite Patrolman
Respirator

Palanite Patrolman
Respirator

Palanite Patrolman
Dumdum Rounds

Palanite Patrolman

It looks pretty good.... I think... and is anyone else a little disappointed because we lost our K9 friend? Or am I missing something? I don’t want to run a hacked cyber mastiff.

Scotland, but nowhere near my rulebook

Pretty sure that's for one off games. For a campaign you need 1000 creds and there's no minimum size.

Yeh I normally play skirmish because sadly there are only 3 or 4 people that play Necromunda at my local Warhammer (GW) store...

I did play using that list. It went pretty well. My opponent used Orlock. The Bolters, Sniper Rifle, grenade launcher, and shotgun are pretty nasty against toughness 3 guys. He had a 11 man gang so we’re were pretty much evenly matched with bodies on the field.

At the front

One issue I see looking at the Book of Judgment is when a Captain, Sergeant, or Patrolman is upgraded to a Subjagator he can only choose weapons from the Subjagator list. Which for ranged weapons is just the grenade launcher and pistols. So they wouldn't be able to bring shotguns or boltguns.
