Anyone else going? Everyone going to the LGT Proper? Anyone doing doubles, or narrative?

I'll be going, just doing the main 40k tournament. Aiming for last place but theres some stiff competition!

Likewise, i'll be there for the main 40k event. Not had a chance to go through many yet, but, it's going to be an interesting event with at least a handful of more interesting list ideas.

I'm excited to see the amazing terrain they'll be using this year!

I've played on it at the London Open. It's genuinely really good.

One of the many reasons I am not taking it seriously and playing narrative this year.

Last year was... Stressful. Between the tightly wound short tempered opponents [aside from the lovely Tyranid player in game one] the atmosphere, and the cheating, I think playing for fun and explosions is going to be a better use of my time.

Funny how Nick Rose got so little attention when you re read this article. How come his « magical reappearance » of aberrants (judge is just as guilty) gets a pass ?

Not to derail the thread, but it seems like LGT has stepped up their judging from what I was told. They seem to all be on the same page after last year, in an attempt to be more stringent.

I don't know if the reality matches the intent however. We'll see.

Those guys weren't in the Top 3 for the London GT. But Alex was pretty shady!

Also yeah they brought in Neil Kerr, the head ETC judge, who is fairly no-nonsense. I hope it goes well.

They scheduled it too close to the NOVA Open, so I can't go defend my title. Sneaky Brits.

I scrolled through the London GT lists and created an (almost) comprehensive list of all the guard units being used. Tank commanders, company commanders and infantry squads make up the majority, but there are a lot of different units being used. If enough people are interested i could do this for other factions, make graphs out of this, or add forge world units, depending on what people want more

I'd like a faction breakdown if you'd be interested. How many Imperium/Eldari/Knight, etc players.
