There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Not sure about the blue you used on the standard, perhaps a more subdue blue/blue grey, slightly weathered to match the tank.

Lovely job Peregrine. Like the weathering and the colour choices.

I remember building my own one of those - so few parts! Really nice kit and you’ve done it justice.

Love the banner and the regimental colours on the vehicle, nice contrast with the dull grey-blue

The dark behind the eyes.

You've done a phenomenal job on making it look weathered. Definitely looks like a tank that's seen its share of action.

Yeah, when i read the small novel that is the Death Guard unit options and think about resolving the attacks from a melee-oriented min size death guard squad, the thing that springs to mind is "Accessible!"

You're not. If you're worried about your opponent using 'fake' rules, you're having fun the wrong way. This hobby isn't about rules. It's about buying Citadel miniatures.

Please report to your nearest GW store for attitude readjustment. Take your wallet.

Textbook. That's a proper dirty tank. There's something about the Mecharius and its shape that provides such good opportunities for painting and detail. It might be my favorite 40k tank.
