Jokes aside, thanks for coming forward and being human. Honestly, I didn't quite get that post the first read through. I'd forgotten the whole "my first time painting" thing at the begining of the thread. Now finish up that 'secret project' and post some blighting pictures. I'm still waiting on a proper group shot of the BLUHD RAIVINZ.

I'd say keep going! Your painting (tho still really good at the begining) has improved from page 1 to 27, and I look forward to seeing more. If people are bothered by it, they dont have to read anymore.

I'm not going to attempt to speak for everyone here, but I'm pretty sure alot of us didn't think that you'd never played wargames or painted miniatures before.

Either way it doesn't matter, your talent is obvious. I don't care that you played and/or painted before, you're an amazing artist and your work is a real inspiration.

Keep up the good work Roleplayer, we're all here routing for you.

In all honesty when I first saw your post and you claimed to not have played or painted before I just thought BS, never the less I truly enjoy your work. I say keep it up and and keep us updated with more of your projects in the future.

Second Tactical Squad Sgt and Multi-Melta.



The sgt is meant to have just swung his sword, sliced open some guys chest, and is now leveling his bolter to finish him off as he lays on the ground.

Followed this blog since it was still on like page 3 or 4 (yeah I was following it before I even signed up ) and I personally, and hopefully I'm right, think I'm speaking for more than myself when I say this.

I don't care one bit if you played the game before. I don't care if you splotched horrible paintjobs on WHFB models as a kid. You're still an inspiration to a lot of us that are looking to improve our own painting.

I think the only way you'd ever lose people, and cause my own brain to implode, is to say someone else is doing the painting. However since I don't see that on the horizon, just keep up the works that have me and others open mouthed in flabergasted and astounded amazement.

I think a lot of us on the internet (especially people who play and paint) know what its like to be alone and completely isolated. I understand that by saying it was your first fig, you wanted people to like your work, and in turn like you, giving you a sense of place within the community. That's totally ok and completely human. While lying may not have been the most ethical choice, it worked. Coming clean with all of us required a lot of guts and I can only imagine how your stomach was in knots writing what you wrote. As a community we accept your apology. Now I hope for one that you are starting to have a sense of community in Japan, if not, we aren't going anywhere. Friends are there for friends, even if its just support with your minis.

Speaking of, I like the chainsword guy. But are we gonna get any fluff with him??
