Some Gotrek action before the big releases this weekend! Of course I bought and read it.

This seems to be a prequel/lead-in to Ghoulslayer.

The short story is told mostly from the perspective of a Stormcast Eternal Ordinator of the Celestial Vibdicators named Trachos who has some serious... emotional baggage. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like the story told from that perspective, but it gives us a good glimpse on how foreign Gotrek truly is in the Mortal Realms.

Suffice to say, the SCE has some ill intent for Gotrek and his somewhat reluctant sidekick Maleneth, but the short story closes in a brilliant turn that made me smile. Gotrek wasn’t always a Slayer, and though he looks barbaric, he’s not a simple barbarian.

Required reading if you are picking up Ghoulslayer, imo.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
