Just tried the new Contrast paints, I wasn't happy with the darker colours but I love the lighter ones.

Attached are a couple of photos from my new army, savage Orks. I used the colour Militarum green instead of Ork flesh.

Please comment and has any one mastered the darker colours?

Looks good to me, I haven't tried contrasts on Orcs yet but I will when I get around to spraying my Black Orcs. That'll probably be with the darker stuff and highlighted with something bright.

Gathering the Informations.

Something to consider is applying a Biel-Tan, Athonian, or Coelia shade before you apply the Contrast.

Shading before applying a Contrast leads to some interesting effects, notably 'deepening' the color in some instances.

Nice work though.

Tested a set lexani wheels. Love the overall design and handling of this rims.

Aye very nice. I have been meaning to do my own greenskins in that green as I think the orc flesh one looks off so am glad it looks as good as I thought it would! Guess I am going to have to buy the paint now and actually get to splashing it on...

I've been using ork flesh on all of my orks and I love the darker green! This one still looks good, but my vote is definitely one up for ork flesh!

Looks great!!
(now I have to decide whether to re-prime the 50+ savage orks I have primed in (non-contrast) grey)

I've been using the darker colors,
but I usually thin them 50-50 with contrast medium

and I second trying contrast over other colors,
I've had some nice looks/effects
(my favorites are greens and purples over gold base)

Looks good, but needs warpaint, which might be a nice preshade of another color before the skintone.
