So, last week Disney+ was launched here in the Netherlands for free on Android/iPhone stuff to test it before release in bigger countries.
Obviously, I installed it, and have been monkeying about a bit.
Sadly, the exclusives aren't on there (no sneak previews of the Mandalorian or Clone Wars S6).
Anyone got any questions about it?

Clone wars S6 won't be happening before 2020. Sometime around June is what I've heard.
Mandalorian; November this year. You won't see anything of it for the next couple of months.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Is the subscription part just disabled for now or is there a free tier I wasn't aware of?

Can you pre-load movies or episodes to watch later?

If your WiFi and mobile data disconnect how long does it take to notice? Or does it just run it down to the last bit of footage it downloaded?

Just general 'how does it compare to Netflix' stuff.

You subscribe, but don't pay anything until November. If you end the subscription before then, you pay nothing.
You can download stuff for watching later. I haven't tried to watch anything not fully downloaded, but streaming something on a dodgy connection is a bad idea.

There's some cool shorts on it for Rebels and a couple for various other Star Wars characters.

Minor gripe: Given Disney's ginormous catalogue the selection of things you can watch is positively anemic, though that's maybe just for the trial.
There's a lot of kids stuff on it (hey, it's Disney), so it's possible they're going to shoot for that part of the streaming customer base more than for adults.
