Well, saw this last night.

The good:
Solid performance all around. It's not Fury good, but it's still very solid. I especially like the narration you get here and there. The movie is beautifully shot and definitely deserves to be seen on the big screen - I sort of regret not seeing it on the IMAX. Where else are you going to see a moon buggy drive by shooting? (it's in the trailer, no spoilers). It's also a interesting depiction of what near-future space travel will be like. I don't think I've ever seen how practical, normalized moon travel will eventually look, most likely.

The bad:
It is a very, very straightforward story. I mean, you get exactly what you think you're going to get from the trailer. No twists, no turns, a linear story that unfolds just as it advertises. The characters are also a little undeveloped - Ruth Negga especially, but all of them could have used a little more sprinkling of backstory.

The Ugly:
For a movie that styles itself on action-adventure, it really does focus a lot on daddy issues... IN SPAAAACEEE!!!

I liked it, though. 7.83 out of 11

My favorite scene:
Spoiler:
When he tells the 3 astronauts that he needs no harm, and then within 90 seconds, he's killed them all. Well done.
