A while back I started work on a Shadowseer conversion (fluffed as a part-demon thing), using the torso from one of the AoS Sylvaneth Spite Revenants:

The problem is his left arm.

Because these torsos are meant to be partially encased in branches, they're not designed to join directly to the left arms that come with them:
Spoiler:

What's more, the left shoulder seems only partially formed:

Spoiler:

What I'd really like is to somehow attack a second claw arm in a mirror of his right arm (giving him a similar pose to some of the models with dual lightning claws). And while I have claws for a left hand, I really don't know how to best attach them to his shoulder. As you can see from the pictures above, the claw arms are a lot thicker and have entirely the wrong attachment point. I could probably attach the left-hand claw to a different arm, but then I have no idea what piece to use for the upper arm or how to go about attaching it to his shoulder. As you can probably see from the picture, I've already tried using green stuff. In fact, I've now spent several hours trying green stuff and every time I've ended up with nothing but a catastrophic mess that needed to be painstakingly scraped off.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Preferably ones involving little or no green stuff.

How much of the Sylvaneth army do you have in bits, or even spare parts from Eldar and Dark Eldar?

I’ve just been converting and messing about with left my very bits from a Treelord so I know there are spare parts to be had since there are three builds that can be done. There are some excellent bits I need that kit and the dryad kit which could cover a bad join. I’m not someone who plays with greenstuff either, so I feel your pain there.

In terms of Sylvaeth, I've only got spares from this kit (I only bought it for some DE/Harlequin conversions).

I haven't got any Eldar spares but I've got quite a lot of spare DE parts.

I've also got some VC spares (I mention it because Ghoul arms are about the right size, though unfortunately the shoulder joins are completely different).

If that’s the case then, I’d still use the arm you have in the spoilered images, but would trim just a bit of the length off the shoulder stub and the arm above the bulbous growth as it makes the arm look too long.you might be able to use something like the leafy loincloth orsome of the vines and bend it over the shoulder joint to cover the splice.

I'm with above. Trim off excess and sculpt the shoulder with green stuff.

One thing - I don't suppose either of you know if the Dryad arms are thinner than the Spite Revenant ones?

(Just wondering if one of those would make for an easier join.)
