I've dipped in and out of heresy with Thousand Sons and Alpha Legion. I'd like to do a Loyalist legion following the release of Malevolence with the updated psyker rules. Now fluff wise there's plenty of legions to go for but no one seems to really use psykers outwith Thousand Sons. It seems like it's very... go big or go home rule wise.

So fluff considerations aside, is it worth leaning into Librarians in a Loyalist Legion?

I think that taking one or two support type librarians is not a bad idea, the buffs from some powers can definetly we awesome with other units (Rending and rerolling to hit on a Duey of the Legion?)

I like librarians but I've had a string of bad luck the last few times I ran one. Last time he got caught in the open and gunned down by a meltagun. The new psyarkana stuff is really cool, there's one that basically gives a libby an 18 inch teleport, highly recommended.

Since the new Psyarkana dropped my thing has been taking a legion champ with Divining Blades as my warlord in my Army Of Dark Compliance. Gives some real cc punch to my list, and can scare bigger stuff like Mechanicum robots and even some of the new Daemon creatures
