So I've tried googling this, but there don't appear to be many posts and a good few appear to be from last year, and most tend to focus on the two annual models.

I'm planning on attending my local stores anniversary event and spending a decent amount, however I'm not 100% sure how the freebies work nor do I have many details on how good they are quality wise.

If I have it right the freebie items for the year are a simple "more you spend more you get" though I'm unsure if its a single item choice depending on how much you buy or each time you reach a higher tier you get that item as well as the previous ones.
From what I can gather in the UK the highest level, bag, is around the £200 mark

Of the items has anyone got them and got any verdict on their quality and, where applicable, functionality? Art prints are always welcome and pretty self explanatory; a short story collection is likely in line with other BL offerings for short stories; the tin I'm not sure how big it is nor what it would hold. Meanwhile the bag I tend to find a lot of reviews from last years design which are fairly negative in their opinion of both its functionality and its quality. Has anyone got the bag from this year to know if its made a decent improvement or not?

A free bag is really nice and gets around the price difference between a GW store and a 3rd party, however it the freebies aren't up to scratch there's less point me waiting until the end of the month.

As Looter In Chief, all the prize tiers are genuinely worth it this year.

I’m a bit drunken at the mo, so can’t remember specifics. But, I believe the tiers are art prints, tin, rucksack, free models - but Anniversary models don’t count toward the top tier.

Best thing to do is have a chat with your local store Manager, see if you can come to a detente.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Tin is around A5 paper size for top down, and maybe two or three inches.

Bag is a notable improvement in quality.

I know I've not been in a while, but I don't think I'm at war with the store (sorry couldn't resit).

I'm certainly planning on giving them a call in advance of going (week/week and a half or so before), mostly to make sure that what I'm after will be there or can be put aside. Would be rather a disaster to have all my plans setup and then turn up only to leave with empty hands and wallet after having to place it all on order.

Some are happy to divide your spend twist the tiers, others are more hidebound.

You lovely factual bunghole

But hand on heart, this year’s rewards are genuinely worth having.

Thanks Sounds like I'd best keep strapping down the money and saving up for that end of the month!

Though with GW doing a reaper preview this week it sounds like they could be coming up for pre-order any moment!
