I’m contemplating purchasing a Thunderbolt Heavy Fighter but I’m curious if any of you out there have any experience with them and how they perform. I think the model itself is cool and seems to pack decent firepower but seeing how many points and how much money one is I’m hesitant to buy one without knowing how well they do. Anyone have any thoughts?

I've not played with them, but they bet seem suited to large boards like apocalypse games, and unless you are anticipating heavy vehicle contact, they don't do much against anything else.

Also I have to say I am not a fan of the design. I prefer something like a marauder myself.

Marauder would be awesome. I just don’t feel like pulling from my retirement savings to buy a model
