Hey All,

So I recently got some cool looking converted Eldar Corsairs models and wanted to try them out in a list. I realize they might not be the most competitive option, but they look very fun, which I am all for. That being said, I know almost nothing about any flavor on the Eldar rainbow and could use some suggestions about which weapon options to equip the little space pirate ninjas with. So here's the list.

Battalion (No HQs = No extra command points): 1,000pts

3 Bands of 5 Reavers; each with 4 Shardcarbines and 1 Blaster: ~62pts apiece

3 Bands of 5 Skyreavers (Jetpack Infantry); each with 4 Shardcarbines and 1 Blaster: ~77pts apiece

2 Bands of 4 Cloud Dancers (Jetbikes); each with 2 Splinter Cannons and 2 Dark Lances: ~148pts apiece

1 Falcon with Bright Lance, Twin Shuriken Catapult, and Crystal Targeting Matrix: ~137pts

2 Venoms with 2 Splinter Cannons each: ~75pts apiece

So the list seems to lack any counter to heavy infantry, as the only things with AP will hopefully go after my opponents' vehicles. I can switch up some of the bike loadouts, swapping the Splinter Cannons for some Shuriken Cannons or Twin Shuriken Catapults, but not sure which is the better option. Also, I've heard mixed reviews on the Falcon, but it seems like a decent vehicle. One other thing I can do is put Shuriken Catapults on the Reavers going in the Falcon to give me some more close range AP. The hope with this army is to stay in the sweet 18" range and use the Corsairs' speed to fire and fade against slower enemies. Thanks a bunch for any input!

Respectfully,

Blackberry
