I’m looking for Necron base inspiration please. Any pics greatly appreciated.

what sort of basing do you mean by "necron"? you mean like a tomb complex or something that looks good on a Necron model?

Whilst the pictures are long since gone, i've always wanted to try the trick of using regular hexagonal pencils with the end filed into an equally hexagonal point to make little crystal clumps

Might've been a trick referenced in my brothers old necron codex.

That said, i'm sure i've seen little pre-made plastic ones floating around the internet for that express purpose

What are you looking for? Most lore based thematic bases are tomb worlds or deserts likes. I've seen Crystal structures as well which are from resin bases which i have a few of.

Google/Pinterest/Instagram necrons and browse photos is normally what i do.

Here are some test bases I did with Green Stuff World's trexture roller on sculpey clay and some Vallejo basing paste.



I think the idea had merit, but my process obviously needs work.
