I know it looks like its just a rod to hold the piece of rock but its actually supposed to be a metal pipe the road is attached to.

Thanks for all the c&c. I'm really glad the colours came off well. Purple is my favourite colour and black is a close 2nd and I wanted a scheme that uses both of it but still look relatively logical for futuristic battles.
