I have noticed recently that many posts with multiple pics (mine as well) now have an added (and very short) slider on the right. I do not remember this showing up only a few months ago. it isn't a big deal, but it does sometimes hesitate when you use a scroll mouse or equivalent (as it scrolls the shorter slider attached to pictures before scrolling the slider attached to the entire set of posts). In threads with multiple picture posts it can grow irritating. What's going on? is this just a general efficiency change or I just never noticed it before? It appears to show only in posts of 5+ pics and the thing that seems strange is the added slider does not scroll through the post including the pictures, but just for an inch or so before then allowing the thread slider to scroll you through all the pics. Has a change been made to the maximum space allocated to each post within a thread? Would it be easier now to post multiple pictures over multiple posts within a thread?

Could you post a screenshot? I've read this a few times but as I haven't seen this myself, am not sure what to make of it. (And as far as I know, there was no change to the site that would've caused this)

Sounds like a bug with a specific browser. What browser/device is it happening on?

That's weird. I wonder if it's something to do with Chrome picking up that the images are resized from the Gallery...

Can reproduce in Chrome, Opera and IE11, but not Firefox or Edge; so whatever it is, it doesn't appear to be solely Chromium-based.

My apologies. I was away a bit and missed the replies. In any case, it looks like you're aware, and others (thanks Ouze and Ghaz) have explained it better than I can. They have shown exactly what I meant.

Yup, thanks for bringing it to our attention. It looks like it doesn't actually break anything, just makes browsing a little odd in those browsers - but I'm sure Lego will look into it when he can.

BTW, it does it horizontally as well on extremely large pics (but only when spoilered).
