I’m not hugely familiar with Sigmar rules still so sorry if this is a really dumb question. If he can then the Reapers of Vengeance command ability would be insanity.

Yup, he has the Khorne keyword and can accordingly benefit from all aspects of the allegiance (though as a unique character he cannot take a command trait or artifact, obviously).

Wow so he could allow himself to attack twice?! That’s bonkers good, especially if a secrator is near him giving all his melee profiles an extra attack each as well.

Despite what he is in the fluff the best way to run Archaon is (and has always been) in a mono-god army to benefit from their niche abilities. Tzeentch, for example, lets him use fate dice to trigger slayer of kings automatically.

He isn’t so good in a Hedonite list though. His special slayer rule doesn’t help depravity, and he doesn’t get the ASL chance. So he can go in, but adds nothing. Better to just have two KoSs.

In Khorne and Tzeentch lists, there is decent synergy for him to take advantage of.

True; Slaanesh is the one army that doesn't do much for him.

It's Archaeon, people are going to think bad things about you for playing him so just go all the way
