Can anybody tell me if the Perry miniatures WW2 metal figures are bigger than the plastic figures ? The plastic figures are too small for Bolt Action ,but the metal looks a lot bigger to me ?

Thanks.

By too small I mean they don't sit well next to Warlord Games figures and most other 28mm manufactures .

Here's a blog post comparing Perry WW2 metal and plastic miniatures. They look to be of compatible size to each other.

Thanks for the link. I found somebody in the know and the metal figures are similar to most 28mm(Bolt Action size etc) and the plastic are just too small unfortunately.

Strange why Perry changed the plastic figures and made them so small ?

Plastics generally have a tiny bit of shrinkage from original mold to final product, but I don't know how much it is. Is it something you could fix by simply tossing 1-2mm of material under their feet? I will agree that the Perry stuff I've had access to is very much proper 25mm, and not close to 28/32mm like most of the other companies.

Right, got hold of a Perry metal ww2 figure and put it next to a Aritizan figure. A little smaller in height and a lot thinner, but passable once painted up I think.
