WWIII British Delay

WWIII: Team Yankee version 2 will launch on December 7, 2019. It was initially planned that WWIII: British would be released, along with its accompanying Army Deal, alongside the launch of the WWIII: Team Yankee rulebook.

Due to issues with the manufacturer of these specific plastic kits, the Challenger and Warrior kits have not been produced to a standard that we are satisfied with and that you have come to expect.

Without these two highly-anticipated and exciting kits, we felt it would not do to release WWIII: British on the scheduled date, especially given that the Challenger and Warrior kits were the flagship releases for the book, and many players were most excited to field them out of the new WWIII: British book.

The new release date will be February 2020, and will allow us time to produce the Challenger and Warrior kits and to ensure they are up to our usual high standard of quality.

I support PSC over BF, both in rules and customer service. But there's plenty of room on the block for either company and scale IMO.

I wondered what would happen after 18 November 2019. So far, the shop seems to be still open and not closed after 18 November 2019 with today being 20 November 2019.

I am waiting to see the 10mm (1:144) helicopters.

PSC sent out an email this morning saying they were extending pre-orders until December 1.
Due to popular demand we have extended the preorder program for an extra 10 days to Monday 1st December to cover an extra payday!

They also gave a slightly more solid release date:
and we'll ship your order out as soon as the products hit our warehouse in Spring 2020 (and before retail release at Salute in April).

The new British stuff looks very tasty, trying my best not to look at it very much as am waiting for the new American book this year. Plus want to start an Iraqi force but god damn, it’s Challengers and Warriors. Must try to resist.....

On a side note I wonder if there’s any new infantry figures to be released. Aren’t the brits armed with the SLR, wonder if they’ll be released with the SA80.

Please open another thread for pictures of models as I would like to keep this thread focused on the competing releases between PSC and Battlefront Miniatures. I am waiting to see the miniatures for the U.S. force for NorthAG. And, I am impatiently waiting to see the helicopters.

Sounds good. They are floating around on YouTube and elsewhere.

It is interesting to hear responses from people about PSC's more slightly bendy barrels -- some people love them because they don't like barrels that snap off and break.

Others prefer different ranges.

I hope this thread sees more responses, I'm still on the fence about Northag and am extremely interested. Will be good to know what range is optimal If I dive in.

I'm trying to decide whether I prefer NORTHAG for the more realistic scale and no tank parking lots... or Team Yankee for the nicer 1:100mm models.

Play Northag with the nicer models?

I was waiting for Northag to use my TY models, but ended up selling them off during the wait for the rules release. I still play a lot of Battlegroup, using PSC and BF 1:100. Works great.

Right you can use 15mm models in Northag, and nice ones at that. Far better rule set from what I've assessed.
