Warren of Vile Fungi is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm EST on Friday, November 1. It will include over 2 dozen individual fungoid-based miniatures developed and sculpted by Pedro Navarro. He's been working on this project for over 2 years in collaboration with Mortal Arrow. It's a deep dive into heroic, fantastic, and terrifying fungal beings from the 1970's to the present. Ascomoids, Gas Spores, Basidironds, Ustilagors, corrupted Myconids, and heroic Myconids are just some of the many hand-sculpted miniatures from Pedro.



The project itself will be live for only 2 weeks, so please consider supporting this effort by Mortal Arrow and Pedro Navarro. Every little bit of aid is important to us, so we kindly ask that you follow this project at the link below:

Ancient Mushroom and its Newborns.

I'll post all of the miniatures we've publicly released so far. These include the 5 Myconid Heroes and 5 Corrupted Myconids, 2 Ascomoids, 3 Basidirond, 1 Carnivorous Mushroom, 3 Phycomid Clusters, 1 Rhyzonid Ancient One and 3 Rhyzonid Children. There are still 5 left to be released. The pictures are below and there are good number of dupes first posted in @Orlando... thread. Just consolidating for folks new to this thread. Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to read this far down in the thread!!

This has been my work for 2 years now and it's wonderful to see it finally revealed! I do hope it goes well and depending on how well there are a few more things to be sculpted

So far plenty to choose from, take your pick if you dare to have fungal things on your tabletop.

I'm sure I'll end up with a few mushrooms before all is said and done- at least we have a few days to decide still!

These would pair quite nicely with Ganesha Games/ Alternative Armies' Fighting Fungi, albeit these are a let more grimdark looking than the more comical style of Ganesha's guys.

Some of those larger add ons would make great terrain for a whole slew of games too!

I agree with highlord that a lot of this would make perfect terrain, even for folks who aren't after the adventurers. There are so many awesome terrain-compatible pieces here!! I'm going to ask in the comments if the creator might consider a terrain-focused pledge. I actually might mount some on hexes for a crazy fungal Warhammer Underworlds board

Loving the idea of playing with Ganesha rulesets. Mortal arrow also added some detailed stats for D&D if you fancy an adventure with these. I think it's a sandbox and you can literally use them for so many games. Even as just some nasty dangerous terrain.

I'm editing some images with all the sculpts of the good and bad guys and the ugly all bundled together in a couple images so it easier to see how much you actually get, its 28 minis after all…

Pedro and I really appreciate the support that we've received so far from the folks on DakkaDakka! Let me answer the shipping question: i) Mortal Arrow regularly ships to Europe for our daily webstore orders, and we've never had an issue (crosses fingers), ii) for the KS anything over 8 oz but under 2 lbs will cost about $29 to the EU (though this does not account for any 2020 USPS increases that may occur before the actual shipment). I hope that this helps.

I think adding some more images would be really great! I went through all the detailed ones on your blog, but it's smart to make them more accessible . I didn't actually realize the Fellrot Ascomoid was spherical (awesome!) before checking out the blog. KS usually has a pretty high allowance for pics, so maybe Mortal Arrow can just snag a few more of yours for each? Thanks for posting here, too, Mortal Arrow!

RItides I did a collage but bear in mind is not to scale its just individual images of all the non hero or corrupted minis. Basically its all the other monsters.

Wonderful news, the Kickstarter positive start has open the opportunity to expand the range. Mortal Arrow had the idea of creating unique miniatures as rewards for each new goal reached.

I'm back to the drawing board and aiming to sculpt more miniatures as the stretch goals are unlocked. The bigger the kick-starter grows more new minis will be created.

I take this chance to explore the fun side of the Myconid. So the idea was not to do heroes or villains but rather the average funny Myconids.

Since the first goal has been unlocked this is the first mini concept… a bit of a grumpy one.

Thank you for that It means a lot to me that people enjoy these minis.

It means I can sculpt more things for this project and also that this concept will be sculpted and added as a free reward. So backers help literally translates in more minis done!
