Hey
As some will know I have quite a few OOP
Minis, these are all primed and sitting on 25mm bases.
I have 3 gangs Van Saar, DeLaque and Cawdor.
These also include some of the alternate minis.
My question is what can I use to base them, back in the day it was flock/ gravel, there were no special bases and they didn't suit the scenery.
I need some examples, my Google fu is failing as it only shows
The new bases available from GW.

Base them on whatever you want? If you play, then match your table? If not then decide on a theme and go for it. Maybe try something you haven't done before, add something interesting like snow, or powders. Necromunda tends to be on urban or rubble bases, but that doesn't mean you can't make them interesting.

Rybrook,
I just added some styrene to create a man-made pattern and then filled in areas with sand to show the ruined side.
That way they will fit in with existing models that had sand bases...those sand bases just were repainted to better match the board and terrain.
Cheers,
CB

The important detail here is the tabs on models feet and whether you plan to keep them or remove them.
Keep the tabs:
Sand/gravel base with additional debris. My current favourite colour scheme for ash waste sand/gravel base is Grey Seer basecoat followed by Gryph-charger grey Contrast paint for a nice grey with bluish tint. Add Necromunda feel with random bits such as discarded equipment or ammo shells or painting the base trims as hazards stripes.
Cut the tabs:
Use anything you like, including Sector Imperialis, Sector Mechanicus, Zone Mortalis or third party bases.
Also, if your google-fu is failing you, try simply searching for any Necromunda models instead of Necromunda bases. All painted models you find are usually based somehow anyway.

Several companies make resin scenic bases of various environments, and those are nice, but you'll have to pin the model's feet and that might be difficult with narrow ankles or depending on the design of the base. Check the stickied thread of companies in this subforum. The different scenic bases GW makes now look cool to me at least, and they're plastic, so you can fuse the model to them. I don't know about any third party plastic scenic bases.
I've been trying to make bases recently using plasticard, or putty, and that's been going well. Evergreen and Plastruct make textured styrene sheets for model trains which you can use for easy basing, such as industrial diamond plate. Cut out a bunch of circles and paint rust (lots of methods, I like using a ragged bit of pluck foam to speckle on black brown and orange).

I did have a look at the resin bases that are available, I do like the look and I suppose it would certainly be easier and faster than adding to the bases I have, The Delaque have long coats which would be difficult to model around
I definitely don't mind cutting the tabs as there are a couple of minis that have the single leg running pose are glued to bases

My older Necromunda models, I just went with patches of sand and rubble to cover the tab and add some spot detail on the bases, and then drybrushed the whole thing grey.
The same idea, carried over onto plastic models, without the need to cover tabs:
