Hi everyone. I've almost fallen in love with the death guard miniatures since they have so much character. One thing I like about them are the little nurglings that adorn the models and also squigs with Orks.

I have some Harlequins and really wanted to add some creatures to the models and bases, do you know of any creatures that inhabit the webway? I know warp spiders are some but any others? I would like to imagine some sprite-like creatures spill out of the webway gates to cause mischief.

Thanks

Warp Spiders tend to live in the infinity circuit more commonly than the Webway, they are the white blood cells of the circuit and protect from daemon incursions.

Depending on where you are in the Webway, you'll have everything from Daemons to Necrons to whatever the hell manages to escape Commoragh.

You shouldn't be having either of those in the Webway parts that are in use...

I know Clawed Fiends infest part of the Webway.

Hence the use of "depending on where you are"

I would say there are Ur Ghuls running about if clawed fiends are?

The webway is an artificial creation, so I don't think anything lives "naturally" in there and creatures from the warp can't go inside (as long as the wards are working, anyways).

There's always Commorragh, though. All sorts of beasties are kept in there and any of these could run away at some point. I actually like the idea of a bunch of predators that escaped ages ago and have managed to breed into a viable population. Now if you go in the dark parts of the webway, you'll be eaten by a space grue!

IRL cities are artificial creations too, but many animals have adapted to it as their new 'natural' ecosystem. Given the age and nature of the webway within the context of the 40k setting, it would make quite a lot of sense for all sorts of creatures to have set up shop. Not to mention any adaptations to their surroundings. But as to answer the OPs question I'm afraid I cannot think of anything that would make appropriate base adornment.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

If you're just looking for little base decorations/pets that fit the army aesthetically and could conceivably be found in the webway, the little spites from Sylvaneth or Wood Elf kits might work. All sorts of little warp spirits, psychic echos, and wraith critters must end up flitting around in there (or could have been brought from the Black Library), after all, even if they aren't quite as dramatic and noteworthy as an infestation of fiends (which might be a touch big for basing, though maybe a razorwing flock could be split up).

I know the fiends get in through a broken gate where they live but the ghuls can probably get in somehow.

I just found some of these on eBay as a coincidence. What kits can they be found in?
