I've been working my way through all of the currently available models (both characters and terrain) from the Marvel Crisis Protocol line. I had the benefit of a little free time last month to get the bulk of these done:

Marvel Crisis Protocol core set by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Doctor Octopus by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Ultron by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Baron Zemo by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Crossbones by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Red Skull by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Iron Man by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Captain Marvel by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Black Widow by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Captain America by Jay Adan, on Flickr

The Incredible Hulk by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Marvel Crisis Protocol Traffic Lights by Jay Adan, on Flickr

And because somebody always asks about the size of the models...
The models are 40mm which works out to roughly 1/48 scale or O scale for you train enthusiasts. Here's a comparison pic with a Knight Models Batman, and Infinity mini and a Space Marine:

Awesome work. The terrain is gorgeous. Iron Man and Ultron look amazing. Cap's' shield may be my favorite thing, though. Very well done.

Seconded on th car. The rest of the minis are fantastic but I really want to be able to paint cars like that!

Thanks, everybody. These are the best minis I've ever painted for myself. I like the game too - so that's a bonus.

Why haven't I clicked on this thread before?!

Beautiful work - I also thought the car was the best

Keeping up with the new releases:

Black Panther by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Killmonger by Jay Adan, on Flickr

Great work! Everyone is suitably bright and colourful, and you've got some very nice shading going on. The Hulk looks fantastic, great shading on Modok, the glows on Iron Man are a nice touch, I like the subtle blues on Black Panther, great shading on Killmonger's skin, and the Cosmic Cube looks fantastic!

Captain Marvel's face does look a little bit strange, at least in the photos. I think the eyebrows are a bit too hard to see; maybe darkening them a little would help.

Thanks for the comparison pics. Looks like the models are a fair bit bigger than even Knight Model's superheroes. That's a shame, I was hoping they wouldn't look too out of scale. Oh well.

One of the things I like about working with minis that are a bit larger is that you can do cool things with targeted gloss.

I watched your tutorials on the dumpster and the traffic lights. Really helpful!

Any chance there's one coming for the cars? I started to paint mine the other night and just... uh.. ruined it. It went in the acid bath. How did you panel line them with that airbrush base coat?

Damn dude! I initially thought your Thanos and Nebula were large-scale statues, they look so detailed! The colours are absolutely spot-on - that shiny blue on Thanos looks amazing! Really nice shading too! You're really showing off the potential of these models.

Yes, all epic stuff Thanos is stunning. Just the tiniest issue on his right (not Infinity) gauntlet with a touch of blue on the gold.

Any recipe for the blue on him? It is glorious.

That blue started life as Warcolours Blue Metallic, but that was way too light so I used Pure Blue from Instar Paint mixed with some acrylic medium to shade it down a little at a time to get it where I wanted it.

More great stuff! I think the highlight for me is Vision, especially his left leg where it's coming through the wall: the effect is subtle but works so well!

These are all fantastic - the effect on vision is great, the NMM is awesome, the characters just jump off the page (so to speak)

Truly inspirational stuff!
