Looks like you had some great games. The armies look awesome, with models ranging from current to really old - loving it! Thank you for collecting all those impressions, I enjoyed it a lot.

How big is the Oldhammer community in Poland? A tournament of that size for WHF6th is pretty unusual.

Well, 6th edition community is between 40 and 50 people that take part in tournaments. On May I am going to do a pair event for 48 players and this will be the biggest oldhammer event in Poland

Some really great photography here, and what looks like a thriving community, which is great to see! I really enjoyed checking these photos out on my lunch break, a lot of lovely retro sculpts!

Yes, our 6th edition family is bigger every year. Our spring event Rada Par Parada - that will be taking place for the third year - is a way to introduce new/inactive players back to the hobby. It is a pair event, 2*120pts, so even new players can team up with some more experienced players and then in autumn play on a single event - Akcja Chwacka Eskalacja.

How does the community look like in Japan?

Sorry, but I'm not sure. There's nothing I know of in this region at all (though I am still a little new), but whenever I've dropped into the GW in Osaka, everyone who is play fantasy, plays AOS (actually, strangely, it seems more popular than 40k). A lot of my online 40k friends from here are more interested in Sigmar too. It's a shame, because seeing your photos really makes me wish I had gotten into the hobby sooner, so I could have had a go at fantasy!

It's always great to see a tournament with fully painted minis and beautiful armies, everything looks fantastic.

Noticed the black orcs using the old hunchback chaos warrior bodies. That's a brilliant idea and look so good!

This Chaos Dwarves army was prepared from ZERO especially for the last spring event!!!!
There is a group of players who build a brand new armies for each pair event!!!! This is a kind of dedication I love and one of the reasons I am running those events.

Wow that is really awesome.

I also like the idea of escalating point costs at a tournament, I think I am going to pick up this idea.

Do the armies consist of the same 1300 points of units plus X, or, can the e.g. 1300 point army be totally different from the 1800 points army?

They can be totally different. But still the same race.

Thanks for the explanation.

Really, I want to go to Warsaw now for your next tournament.

Just got to convince my wife it is a FANTASTIC idea to drive 1200 km to visit the city and it's beautiful sights!
"What's in the big box beside our luggage?" "Nevermind honey. Here, take my money and go shopping, I will er, go fishing.".

This will be an easy one. The event is not in Warsaw but in a health spa just outside the Warsaw. There is brand new hotel-spa 200 meters away from the event and both it is located in a beautiful park.
Just have a look:
