I know the size of the round part of the base but I’m curious what the height is for destroyers? There’s various heights on the poles for the stands. I guess it’s important to mention I got 12 destroyers 2nd hand and they came with me 20+ of the flying stands all different sizes

The height is pretty much whatever you like. Destroyer bases used to come with differently sized rods so you can have a bit of diversity in your squad. I don't have exact measurements nor can I check at the moment, but mine should all be on rods about an inch to an inch and a half in length (aka using the sprue with the two shortest rods). Longer rods usually came in vehicle kits like Land Speeders.
