Been eyeing my
FEC again to get back into Sigmar while I round out my Nurgle and begin my Deepkin. I haven't really played since early in 2.0, and haven't touched
FEC since well before their new tome dropped although I bought it, the spells, the throne and found an Archregent on eBay. My area isn't super competitive but strong, so I want something solid that I can hold my own with while avoiding the part I hated about
FEC before which was that it largely consisted of nothing but rolling buckets of dice from hordes of ghouls. I also hate Gristlegore and don't have enough monsters anyways, so I'm going to run the following I think:
Allegiance: Flesh Eater Courts
- Grand Court: Blisterskin
Mortal Realm: Shyish
Leaders
HRH King Shivergloom VI (240)
Abhorrant Archregent
- General
- Trait: Hellish Orator
- Artefact: Eye of Hysh
- Lore of Madness: Deranged Transformation
Prince Festerspite (420)
Abhorrant Ghoul King on Royal Terrorgheist
- Artefact: Ethereal Amulet
- Lore of Madness: Spectral Host
- Mount Trait: Gruesome Bite
Duke Gristlebane (160)
Abhorrant Ghoul King
- Lore of Madness: Blood Feast
Marquess Foulgorge (160)
Varghulf Courtier
Battleline
9 x Crypt Flayers (510)
10 x Crypt Ghouls (100)
10 x Crypt Ghouls (100)
Units
3 x Crypt Horrors (130)
Battalions
Royal Mordants (120)
Endless Spells / Terrain / CPs
Chalice of Ushoran (50)
Total: 1990 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 103
With the main idea being that the Archregent summons 20 ghouls, the King on foot summons 10 (probably to hold an objective in the backfield), and King on Terrorgheist summons 3 extra Flayers (or Horrors if the situation warranted it, but most likely Flayers). I could swap the Chalice for an extra
CP; not sure at the moment. I haven't played in a long time like I said above so I don't want to overwhelm myself.
