Am I the only one who noticed the 45 degree angles on the walls for this one?
Oh and the railings on top.
Seems like we might get a wave 2 of ruins soon enough.

The 45 degree angles are already possible with the present sets because of the way the columns are designed. What is new though is indeed the broken railing piece at the top and ofcourse the statue. I wonder if the piece assembled like this has the same width as the default cathedral building from the killteam box. Combined with that it would make a cool piece. Might make me finally get the imperialis sanctum because of those smaller statues that form a transept. All sets combine should be a nice big ruined cathedral.
Edit: now that i look at it again, seems that either the center wall is smaller then the usual imperialis pieces or the two side walls are actually bigger walls

The two side windows (the ones at 45 degrees) are larger than the standard panel so that the distance across the open face is 3 standard panels wide so that you can add it to bigger buildings

@ Dirk
I was mostly referencing the floors which up till now were only squares and now it looks like we'll get triangular ones, but also the fact that those side walls are indeed larger to accommodate the 45 degree angle. Hadn't though of that but that's convenient too.

I'm thinking 2 sets for me. Trim the candles off her base and I can use one as a massive statue in AT. The other will be a normal 40K statue. Maybe stick this rounded part on the end of a sector imperialis building. I have so many ideas of how to use them. Just cringing at the price.

The legs seem too long. That said - it is a statue, so the imperial sculptors can do what they want. I do like it - might get one.

hard to tell if GW's smart they kept the statue's size deliberatly off with what it'll actually be to prevent that

Maybe now but GW being GW it's matter of time before they are broken good again.
I rather pay less to not have oversized model and couple extra models that will be good one day. Plus there are times I have 20 pts to spare without much useful thing I can add anymore so bodyguard. Were they character keyworded? If so then extra MD would be nice.

I am very curious to know if the ruined building around the statue has a height that aligns with the older Administratum ruined chapel/Sanctum .. made a huge building with 3 of those kits..

40k figures aren't realistically-proportioned to begin with (heroic scale and all), but honestly I think it's just because the arms and legs are bare that it might seem off at a glance.

I don't believe so. As far as I know the new panel height is 5", while all the old Cities of Death panels were 3" (while the cathedral kit's panels had double that height). It will almost certainly fit with the new kits, but not easily with the old ones.
People with experience with the new terrain kits will probably be able to say for certain, though.

Issues with the statue will arise from the size. It shares GW's usual heroic proportions, but is many times the size of a small, human sized model. Wonky proportions will be so much more apparent on the statue than they are on actual Sisters.
Edit: Also, this may just be the place and time to crack a joke about someone at GW having a giant foot fetish.

Also that what's being referred to as the neck is in fact the area from the upper/mid-chest all the way to the chin.
