Just found out today that Walt Langhans the owner of Impudent Mortal passed away today. He made some nice laser cut terrain and we were going to work with him on making some tokens for our game. There was a post on the company facebook page that the business is now closed.

I don't remember him, but I definitely met him as I've visited the Impudent Mortal table at a couple of conventions a few years ago.

Shame to lose anyone in the hobby.

I saw this on Facebook too. Quite sad as I don't think he was that old and it appeared to be unexpected. Must be hard on his family and friends. Condolences to them.

Oh no . I'm so sorry to hear this...

Dakka's date system looks like it's malfunctioning on the OP, this occurred yesterday (Jan 19th). So sad...

My thoughts go out to his family.

He made nice stuff, and the community is better for having had him in it.

Just saw this on my facebook too, very sad,

they're saying the business is closed for the time being (rather than permenantly) so it sounds like there's a possibility it could return once the grieving & sorting out it done (not sure if it was a one man operation, or if there were several folk involved? )

Just lost. Details of services will be announced as soon as we know.

Thank you for your outpouring of love for Walt and me.

I just wanted to keep our gaming family posted. Michele

We do not have full plans yet. But I know many of you want to be here.
So tonight or tomorrow (at the latest) I will have details to give you. It is looking like this weekend.

For everyone who couldn't attend: My love letter to my love; this is the video I created to celebrate him. I truly hope I did him justice. Michele

Wow, sad to hear this for sure, and he was only 49. Bought a nice paint rack from him a few years ago, still using it.

Bad News.

Impudent Mortal stuff is the bulk of my Necromunda/Shadow War Armageddon board.
