dev. squad:
6 marines - 3 missile launchers, tank hunters

this is all the models i have assembled right now, save one man with a plasmagun. i don't know if it's the best way to arrange them, but i've had success playing against my brother's tau. thus far i haven't lost, partially due to the fact that we've never rolled an alpha mission ( so i can use my infiltrators). i just bought an assault squad box, so i could potentially add a 5 man assault squad.
i'm looking for ideas on how organize my squads and suggestions of what i should buy next. anyone?

I'd say make those Devastators Elites - you need Suffer Not the Work of Heretics for Tank Hunters on Heavy Support Devs, so just switch it for Honor Your Wargear and your heavy weapons set up after your troops.
As far as purchases, I'd vote for two marines with lascannon and one with a plasma gun to give your Troops a bit of range and a tornado to give yourself a little mobile firepower. Add those five Assault Marines with a brace of flamers and that should put you at 1000 points. When you start facing armies with heavier close combat hitters than Tau, I'd buy an Assault Marine Sergeant with a power fist and two more assault Marines and/or some Tactical/Veteran Sergeants with Power Fists.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.

actually, i had considered the two lascannons, but i don't know where i could buy an individual model with a plasmagun. maybe i'll just order the sprue from the command squad that comes with all those extra weapons.
