Hello all, I was hoping I could pick some brains for color scheme ideas. I've been out of the hobby for a very long time, years in fact, but with the release of the new plastic sisters I've been buying and building and eventually will start painting. I'm trying to come up with a color scheme to give my noble lady warriors. I want to avoid the major color schemes of the various orders, especially the ever classic and lovely Order of Our Martyred Lady. While I really do like the look of the black armor, I want to really avoid the common look that so many others will ultimately do.

The convent is housed on a world that is also the home of my custom chapter of Space Marines. The main color pattern I'm going with for the Marines are gold and blue. I'm wanting to put them in a color scheme that will not only work on it's own by complement that of the marines. I'm thinking maybe a red was the base color but not to sure. I've got some time to go before they'll be ready for painting but want to start planning now.

white with blue would compliment your Astartes.
or you could go for contrasting base color with similar accemt.
