I was stripping away some early 00s metal miniatures, and realized I still have two old Epic Paladins left (the third one in the blister has long since been converted, among other things, to two bionic legs for space marines). Since Adeptus Titanicus is a currently supported game, I might want to use these in a game some day, and was wondering how much larger the current Questoris pattern is to these old chaps. I understand they're on 40mm bases these days, but does anyone happen to have an actual side by side comparison?

The supply does not get to make the demands.

best i could find on a quick google search.

6mm vs 8mm is apparently a big change plus the AT18 knights are overall more "beefy".
and the other 2 knights are bigger then the current quest, so the old range from a size point, dont "blend" well.

whatever 6mm vs true 6mm rather. Old epic vehicles were way off the 6mm. Titans were more like 2mm or 3mm scale. Now with AT being true AT no wonder size went up.

Aha, thank you! Looks like the difference is a bit too much to be easily overcome. The one in the pic looks like the plastic Paladin. If I recall correctly, the metal ones are slightly chunkier, but not as tall as the Lancer standing next to the Paladin there. I think I will base my Paladins on 32mm bases with a bit of extra elevation just for good measure. It's very unlikely they'll ever see use, but I wanted to paint them up well, at least.
